Peter has always enjoyed mentoring young people. This passion has led him to several endeavours in educating a new generation of performers.

 

Private Vocal Coach
Peter has been teaching singing, specializing in musical theatre, for many years. He takes on 6-10 regular students each year, but is also available for audition coaching.  He teaches out of his home in Burnaby.  For an appointment call or email.
Peter Jorgensen
The Arts Club Musical Theatre Intensive
Peter is the Founder and Program Director of this elite program for talented young people between the ages of 14-19 years of age.  The program runs for 3 weeks in the summer.  Auditions usually occur around May.
 
Other
Peter spent one summer as the director of the Uncle Randy Productions/Centennial Theatre Musical Theatre Camp. He has led master-classes in musical theatre performance for Theatre BC Backstage, and many high schools around the Lower Mainland. He has been a counsellor at the North Vancouver Outdoor School, North Vancouver Band Camp, and head Counsellor for the Artists for Kids Summer Camps. He is currently developing a History of Musical Theatre course for the University of British Columbia.
